The Basics
What’s a Family Bundle?
A Family Bundle is our flagship weekly meal — everything your family needs for a delicious, stress-free dinner. Each bundle includes 2 entrees, 2 sides, 1 fresh salad, and 1 dessert, all hand-made with seasonal, organic ingredients. It feeds a family of 4 for dinner.
How much does it cost?
A single Family Bundle is $125. The Founding25 pre-order includes 4 Family Bundles for $375 (that’s 25% off the regular $500 price). Delivery is an additional $5 (San Jose proper) or $10 (surrounding areas like Los Gatos and Saratoga).
Do I need a subscription?
Nope! We don’t do subscriptions. You order when you want and skip when you don’t. We earn your order every single week.
Can I customize my bundle?
Once we launch our full weekly menu, you’ll be able to order à la carte and mix and match entrees, sides, salads, and desserts.
Ordering & Delivery
When will I get my first delivery?
Founding25 pre-orders will receive their first delivery on Wednesday, September 9, with weekly deliveries every Wednesday through September.
How does delivery work?
We deliver every Wednesday. Orders must be placed by the prior Wednesday-Friday at noon. Delivery fees are:
- $5 — San Jose proper (ZIP codes 95110–95128)
- $10 — Surrounding areas (Los Gatos, Saratoga, and expanding South Bay areas)
We’ll confirm your delivery zone when you place your order.
What if I’m not home for delivery?
We’ll leave your bundle in a safe, cool spot at your door. All packaging is insulated to keep your food fresh. We’ll send you a delivery notification so you know it’s there.
What if I need to pause or cancel?
Since there’s no subscription, there’s nothing to cancel! For the Founding25 pre-order, if something comes up, reach out to us at passtheplatesj@gmail.com and we’ll work with you.

Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We’re working on offering gluten-free, dairy-free, and high-protein options. For the Founding25 pre-order, please email us at passtheplatesj@gmail.com with any allergies or dietary needs and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Are your ingredients organic?
Yes! We source seasonal, organic, locally-grown ingredients whenever possible. Our chef is passionate about using the best ingredients the South Bay has to offer.
What if I don’t like something?
We want you to love every bite. If something isn’t right, reach out to us and we’ll make it right. Your satisfaction matters to us — we’re a small, local business and every family counts.
The Founding25 Campaign
What is Founding25?
Founding25 is our pre-launch campaign to find our first 25 founding families. Pre-order 4 Family Bundles for September delivery and lock in 25% off — that’s $125 in savings. Once we reach 25 orders, pre-orders close.
When does the Founding25 campaign end?
Pre-orders are open through August 31, or until we reach 25 families — whichever comes first. Don’t wait!
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your payment information.
